RACE DETAILS

Join us on Saturday, August 2nd for great fun and excitement at the first annual Ohio State Fair 5K run and walk. It's your chance to experience the Ohio State Fair from "top to bottom" as runners will race along the entire length of the fairgrounds past colorful rides and exhibits. This inaugral event is sure to attract hundreds of runners and walkers and is a MUST for the entire family. Don't forget the kids! Our McDonalds "Future Olympian" Kids race kicks things off at 7:30am. Free fair passes, free parkng and lots of cool "stuff" are included in this program.

WHEN: The race is Saturday, August 2nd at 8am (5K). McDonald's "Future Olympan" Kids Race 7:30am

WHERE:
The race will start and finsh next to Crew Stadium.

ABOUT THE COURSE
The 3.1 mile course will start and finish in front of Crew Stadium and into the Ohio State Fairgrounds. Check out this great view (click here).

OHIO STATE FAIR 5K " SWAG BAG"
All participants will receive a goody bag consisting of a high quality Ohio State Fair 5K technical shirt, EAS nutritional product, a fantastic Buca Di Beppo “carbo load" certificate” race number and post race food and beverage.

FREE FAIR ADMISSION (and SkyGlider ticket)
All participants will receive an Ohio State Fair voucher good for one free admission and SkyGlider ticket. While you're at the race why not use your voucher and take advantage of our special "race day only" family and friends special discount admission of only $5. Children 4 and under are free!

COMPLIMENTARY FAIR PARKING
All participants will enjoy free fair parking simply by showing a copy of your entry form at the parking gate or by showing your race number. You can copy the entry form from the special link that is attached to this web site or you can pick up an entry form at most Central Ohio running stores.You can also show your race number if you choose to pick-up your race packet in advance. The top 3 finishers per age group will receive special commemorative awards. 16-under, 17-9, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75+

MCDONALDS "FUTURE OLYMPIAN" KIDS RUN .....Don't forget to enter your kid(s) in the McDonalds "Future Olympian" Kids Run beginning at 7:30am. It a 200-300 yard dash and includes a cool looking t-shirt and finisher ribbon. Bring a camera!

3) Register and pick-up your packet at Road Runner Sports (614-896-2090) beginning July 29th thru August 1st.
5) Race day beginning at 6:30am in front of Crew Stadium.
