Join us for the 2008 Race for Vision 5K in the beautiful downtown Arena District. The event is sponsored by The Eye Center and 100% of the proceeds will benefit The Eye Center Foundation and The Central Ohio Lions Eye Bank.

OUR CHARITIES:
1.The Eye Center Foundation: a center for patient education about eye diseases and treatments. It is the only resource of its kind in Ohio: a facility for patients to gather and hear experts about any eye condition. It also exists to educate physicians, optometrists, and students about new treatments and surgeries.
2. The Central Ohio Lions Eye Bank: this facility processes and distributes corneal tissue to regional hospitals for corneal transplntation needs, restoring vision to those blinded by corneal problems.

Starting time is 9:00am giving you plenty of time to catch the Ohio State Buckeyes later in the afternoon.

All runners and walkers receive a colorful high quality race shirt, , Buca di Beppo “carbo certificate”, EAS nutrition product, race number, and finish line food and beverage.

AWARDS AND RACE RESULTS
The top 3 finishers in the following age groups receive commemorative awards: 15-under, 17-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, and 70+ AND WALKER.

DIRECTIONS
The race will begin at next to North Bank Park near the intersection of Neil Avenue and Spring Street on the banks of the Scioto River. 9:00am starting time.
