This new event features a beautiful run along the downtown Scioto River followed by the "Go Bucks beat Illinois" Football bash at the R-Bar located in the heart of the Arena District just down from Nationwide Arena. Get some exercise and watch the game immediately after the run. Sponsored by Pyranid Breweries.

WHEN: Saturday, October 2nd. (Buckeye away game)

TIME: 11:00am (One hour before kick-off)

ABOUT THE RACE: Participants will assemble at R-Bar for some pre-race relaxation and final instructions. Runners (and walkers) will make their way to the starting line (see map) for a 3.1 mile race along the Scioto River. Following the race everyone is invited to see the visiting Buckeyes smash the Illini!

RACE PACKETS: Participants will receive a colorful R-Bar 5K race shirt, race number, Sports Clips coupon, finishline food and beverage.

AWARDS AND TIMING: Everyone will have a time recorded with the first 100 male and 100 female runners awarded a special R-Bar 5K drinking glass perfect for s complimentary brewski or soft drink at R-Bar.. No age group timing. Glasswear will be awarded as you finish the race.
