RACE DETAILS

Join us on Saturday, September 6th for the Ohio Sternwheel Festival 5K run/walk in historic Marietta, Ohio. This is a fantastic weekend of fun, food, and family and something you won't want to miss. Make sure you bring the kids to the race. Our " Kids Run" is worth a million pictures. So bring your kid(s), your camera, running shoes and join us for the 2008 Ohio Sternwheel 5K and Kids Run.

WHERE ....Race day registration and goody bag pick-up will be held at the Don Drumm Stadium at Marietta College beginning at 6:30am. Runners and walkers in the 5K will be instructed to the starting line at the Lafayette Hotel about 5 blocks away. The kids race will be held inside the stadium at 7:30am.

STARING LINE :
The 5K race will begin directly behind the Lafayette Hotel at Ohio and Post Street. (see map for details)

KIDS RUN .....Don't forget to enter your kid(s). It's a 200 yard dash around the stadium. Entry fee includes a cool looking t-shirt and finisher ribbon. Bring a camera! Procees to benefit the Sternwheel Festival.

SWAG BAGS
All 5K participants will receive a goody bag consisting of the official Ohio Sternwheel Festival 5K t-shirt, race number, and post race food and beverage.

AWARDS
The first 50 men and 50 women will receive a special award to recognize your accomplishment...... The top 3 OVERALL (men/women) receive trophies. NO AGE GROUP TIMING.

RACE RESULTS
All finish times will be posted on-line following the race at www.ultrafit-usa.com.

You can register for race four ways:

3) Register at a local running store (pending)
4) Race day beginning at 6:30am at Don Drumm Stadium at Marietta College. Details to follow.

RACE DAY REGISTRATION AND PACKET PICK-UP :
You can pick-up your race packet and register on race day beginning at 6:30am at the stadium. Look for registration signs when you arrive at Marietta College.

ENTRY FEE:
5K: $22 Race Day:$25
KIDS: $12 (Must pre-register. No race day sign-up) includes t-shirt, finisher ribbon and special treat
