WELCOME
The Safari 5K (and Frog Jog) offers an all-day experience that is designed for the entire family. Hosted by UltraFit/USA, your morning will begin with a little exercise and lots of post-race fun and photo ops. Great looking shirts and awards including all day zoo pass and free parking. Make sure you bring your camera!

SAFARI 5K INFORMATON
The Safari 5K is a 3.1 mile run or walk that begins and finishes at the Tiger Shelter near Conservatory Lake. It is designed for anyone interested in health and fitness regardless of age or experience. The Safari 5K will utilize "chip" technology for recording your finish times. The top three overall male/female finishers receive cool looking plaques. ALL PARTICIPANTS WILL RECIEVE A BEAUTIFUL CUSTOM MEDAL WITH RIBBON.

FROG JOG INFORMATION
Bring a camera! This event features 1/3 mile run or walk around Conservatory Lake. The start and finish is at The Tiger Shelter.
Recommended for kids 9 and under. Medals and post race goodies included.

AWARDS AND MEDALS
SAFARI 5K....Handsome wall plaques will be awarded to the top three overall male/female finishers. Everyone will receive a great looking custom medal with ribbon.
FROG JOG.....Cool looking finisher medals will be awarded to all participants. Bring a camera!

RACE RESULTS
All finish times will be recorded and posted online following the race at www.ultrafitusa.com.

RACE DAY PACKET PICK-UP
You can pick-up your race packet at the Columbus Zoo beginning at 6:30am.
NO ADVANCED PACKET DISTRIBUTION.

ENTRY FEE:
:: Safari 5K: $50 and $38 for current zoo members (must show membership card at registration)
:: Frog Jog: $25 and $18 for current zoo members (includes zoo pass, t-shirt and medal)
* Note: These fees will increase $5 beginning May 1st
** Tickets for non-participating guests and friends can be purchased for $12.

NOTE: EVERYONE WHO ENTERS THE ZOO WILL BE REQUIRED TO HAVE A TICKET OR PROOF OF MEMBERSHIP. THIS INCLUDES ANYONE WHO WILL NOT BE PARTICIPATING IN THE EVENT (LIKE FAMILY MEMBERS AND SUPPORT PEOPLE). TICKETS WILL BE AVAILABLE FOR A REDUCED PRICE ($12). MANY PEOPLE WILL BE ATTENDING THE EVENT TO SUPPORT THE KIDS DURING THE FROG JOG. YOUR TICKET WILL ALLOW FULL ACCESS TO THE ZOO FOLLOWING THE RACE.
